Terms of Service

Welcome to BookLink ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our services. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform.

To use BookLink, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Hold a valid and active pharmacy license in the applicable state (for pharmacists)
• Be authorized to operate a licensed pharmacy facility (for pharmacies)
• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration

Pharmacists using BookLink are independent 1099 contractors. They are not employees of BookLink or any pharmacy on the platform. Pharmacists are solely responsible for their own taxes, professional licensing, malpractice insurance, and adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

When a pharmacist accepts a booking, they are making a binding professional commitment to fulfill that shift. Bookings represent agreements between pharmacists and pharmacies facilitated by BookLink.

• Pharmacists should only accept shifts they are fully prepared and able to complete.
• Pharmacies are responsible for providing accurate shift details and a safe working environment.
• BookLink reserves the right to cancel bookings that violate platform policies.

BookLink charges a 12% platform fee on the advance (upfront) payment only. The completion payment (50% of total) carries no platform fee. Payment terms are as follows:

• 50% of the agreed shift total is paid to the pharmacist upon booking approval (advance payment).
• The remaining 50% is released after all shifts in a booking group are completed.
• All payments are processed through Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms of service.
• BookLink is not liable for payment delays caused by third-party payment processors.

Cancellations disrupt pharmacies, patients, and the platform. The following policies apply:

• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the shift start time may result in forfeiture of the advance payment plus applicable fees.
• Repeated cancellations may result in account suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
• Pharmacists must notify BookLink as soon as possible if they are unable to fulfill a shift.

A no-show or early departure confirmed through the dispute process may result in:

• Reversal of the advance payment to the pharmacy
• Application of a chargeback fee to the pharmacist
• Account suspension for repeated violations

BookLink provides a dispute mechanism for pharmacies to report no-shows or early departures. Pharmacists have the opportunity to respond to any dispute filed against them. BookLink's determination of disputes is final and binding. We reserve the right to escalate disputes that cannot be resolved between parties.

BookLink reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account that:

• Violates these Terms of Service
• Provides false or misleading information
• Engages in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Has repeated cancellations, no-shows, or early departures

BookLink is a marketplace platform facilitating connections between pharmacists and pharmacies. We are not liable for the professional conduct, licensing status, or actions of any user on the platform. Our total liability to any user shall not exceed the fees paid to us in the three months preceding any claim.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
